The longest blank since I started this blog! I have some better ideas (than the one below) drawn in my Moleskine, but there’s no time to draw 3D to show here. So here’s one that could be rendered relatively fast.
If a very light material could be used for the light, a desktop lamp of this width might be possible.
For controlling the area to be lit, use the “pinch” gesture on the UI screen.
To turn up the light, draw a circle clockwise. For turning down, do it counter-clockwise.
