Crowdfunding Project: Play & Learn Projection Game “HAPPYTOWN!”

Want to create something more fun than smartphone apps that everyone can enjoy together!!

Until now, I’ve developed popular apps for smartphones and tablets, but I want to find ways for more people to have fun! So this time I’m jumping out of small screens, onto the grand stage of projection mapping to create a game which both children and adults can enjoy together at a time! Playing this game will require thinking and cooperation, and it will nurture children’s creativity!

Guide to Starbucks

Sure, this will definitely take you to the Starbucks, but if your iPhone already knows you’re going to a Starbucks, how about showing a cute and chatty barista who’s happily guiding you to the store like a human while naturally asking you what you’ll order at the Starbucks? It’d not only save your time, but you could enjoy your way there. Also, it could work without you looking at the screen if you have a set of earphones.

Begging Pegman Concept for Google Maps

Dear Google, I like the current flat version of the pegman in Google Images, but how about it acting like a baby, asking you to drop it when it’s near a popular landmark?

And it’d be more fun and clear if it started to beg not to be released at locations where the street view is NOT available.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

And here’s my another concept I thought of 5 years ago.

Now Free– Checkie! Image based checklist app

Items that are often left behind when leaving home, such as a schoolboy’s handkerchief, grocery items, baby wipes, etc. etc… Checkie! helps you remind those items with fun!

Everybody’s busy. So the timer directly starts the app and images are used instead of text so you can see and know what it is at a glance. All you have to do is touch the item when it’s ready. For the events that you don’t know when to happen, such as outing with a baby, an irregular business trip, just prepare lists of them ready at hand! What you can enjoy the most of Checkie! is when preparing a list so that even a little kid gets interested in the process, which helps her/him aware of self management of the belongings.

Users of Checkie! say it helps not only kids, adults and seniors who often leave something behind, but also people with ADD and ADHD.

It’s now available free on iPhone and iPad on App Store.

SUM! – iPhone Math Game App

My first iPhone app!
I’m so glad to introduce this app born completely from my idea to you all.

Math with Lovable Numbers!

SUM! is a fun math game that teaches the concept of addition and subtraction through play. In the app, the nature of the numbers is represented as the personality of the characters. Just as each child has a unique individuality, each number has a unique face and personality! It’s an app for not just kids, but for everyone, to enjoy adding and subtracting to build familiarity with numbers. Spot lots of fun secret tricks by touching lovable numbers!
Character names wanted!
Characters from 1 to 10 want cute names associated with the meaning of each number. Download the app and write a review with your ideas!
Download at the appstore.

Compath.me –Web & iPhone App Design

Compath.me now launches a web service that works in sync with its iPhone app. The iPhone app also has a major update to 1.4. I’ve been working fully for this project for the last couple of months as lead designer and that’s part of the reason I couldn’t update this blog lately (sorry!). I worked on every pixel on both iPhone and web app this time and all other things you can see of Compath.me.

Some of the features includes photo-import from Facebook & instagram on the website and see them categorized on a map on iPhone. ‘My Memo’ always tells you your saved locations with 1 tap. Every information is location based and shown graphically by location. So if you have lots of geotagged photos on Facebook/Instagram and are wondering how best to compile them by location, this is da bomb!
